Hello World

personal intro meta

Welcome to my corner of the internet! After years of building systems in the background, I finally decided to create a space where I can write about what I’m learning and building in tech, music, and faith.

Why Start a Blog?

There’s something powerful about learning in public. When you write about what you’re learning, you:

  1. Solidify your understanding — Teaching forces you to truly grasp concepts
  2. Create a personal reference — Future you will thank present you
  3. Connect with others — You never know who might benefit from your experiences
  4. Track your growth — It’s amazing to look back and see how far you’ve come

What I’ll Write About

Financial Systems & Data Engineering

By day, I work on data integrity and reconciliation systems at scale, Spark/YARN pipelines, break analysis, and operational reliability. I’ll share a few lessons I learned along the way.

AI-Assisted Engineering

I’m exploring how AI can augment financial (or any) systems work: anomaly detection, intelligent break classification, observability tooling. Less hype, more practical application.

Side Projects

I build things on the side, apps for worship teams, Bible reading communities, and personal productivity. Any issue I see, I try to think of how to solve it for myself.

Bass & Music

I play bass at my church, primarily a worshipper and then a musician. Gear thoughts, practice approaches, and the intersection of music and faith.

Faith & Life

Reflections on walking with God, my life, and becoming better at the things that matter.
